How to install Lumelar on your phone

No app store needed. In one minute Lumelar sits on your home screen with its own icon, just like an app.

iPhone

Before you start: on iPhone, open lumelar.app in Safari (the blue compass browser). It does not work in other browsers or inside WhatsApp or Instagram.

  1. Open Safari and go to lumelar.app.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Share button: a square with an arrow pointing up. If you don't see the bar, tap the middle of the screen once.

  3. In the list that opens, scroll up and tap "Add to Home Screen" (a square with a + sign).

  4. In the top right corner, tap "Add".

Done! The Lumelar icon is on your iPhone's home screen. From now on, always open it from there. The first time, tap "Allow" when the app asks to send notifications — that's how medicine and appointment reminders reach you.

Android (Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi…)

Before you start: open lumelar.app in Google Chrome (the browser with the red, yellow and green circle).

  1. Open Chrome and go to lumelar.app.

  2. If you see an "Install Lumelar" button, tap it and then "Install". Done!

  3. If not, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".

  5. Confirm by tapping "Install" (or "Add").

Done! The Lumelar icon is on your home screen. The first time, tap "Allow" when the app asks to send notifications — that's how reminders arrive.
